The August Crossing Campus
Help bring a new kind of care campus to North Texas.
We are developing a vision for a pediatric palliative care campus with a home-like atmosphere, respite support, spaces for family gathering and grief care, and opportunities for clinical education and innovation.
We are designing from lived experience and listening to families to shape a model of care that can ultimately be shared with other communities.

Born from being there when families needed more.
As a hospital chaplain, Amanda walked alongside families in intensive care and at the end of life. She saw extraordinary medical teams doing their best within systems that were not built around the full experience of children and families.
That experience shaped a conviction: children deserve care created specifically for them, and families deserve to be supported through every step.
